Drexel NP preceptors in New Hampshire

No Drexel exclusion list names New Hampshire. You can enroll in any NP MSN track or NP post-master's certificate, in the post-master's DNP or in the RN-to-BSN, and plan NP clinical hours inside the state.

New Hampshire spells out a detailed rule for schools from other states. Nur 602.15(j) has an approved prelicensure program headquartered outside the state register with the Board before students arrive, send six weeks' warning ahead of every placement and file paperwork at three levels: a Clinical Preceptor Agreement for each preceptor, a Part B placement form for each rotation and a Form A petition every year.

OPLC's education page puts post-licensure programs, naming RN-BSN and RN-MSN, beyond the Board's regulation. Drexel's NP tracks admit licensed RNs, so that paperwork belongs to other schools. The rule's own status is also uncertain: the Cornell LII copy lists an expiration date of January 23, 2026, yet OPLC was still referring to it in January. When a New Hampshire site raises Board paperwork, refer it to Drexel's contracting team.

More than 459,000 New Hampshire residents live inside the Boston-Cambridge-Newton metro, and for some of them a Massachusetts site is the nearest option. AANP rates New Hampshire full practice, so NPs here can practice with no physician agreement required. For Drexel, your New Hampshire preceptor is an NP, a CNM or a doctor in a Drexel-approved specialty, currently board certified, with a year or more of practice and a New Hampshire license. PAs aren't on Drexel's list. No New Hampshire preceptor incentive was found, so the offer to a preceptor comes from Drexel: an honorary faculty title, a Certificate of Appreciation each term and discounted Drexel CE courses.

Dartmouth Health, home of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, is the state's academic system. Catholic Medical Center, an HCA Healthcare hospital, and Concord Hospital Health System serve the middle of the state, while Southern New Hampshire Health and Elliot Health System cover Manchester-Nashua. SolutionHealth, the system those two founded, may be coming apart after a July 2025 proposal to dissolve it, so contact each hospital's student office on its own. None is a named Drexel partner.
