Pick whichever channel suits your day. Each one reaches the same placement desk, and the same advisor can pick up the thread from any of them.

• The form on this page is best for a full request. Choose your program and your start option, add your city and state, and use the message box for the details listed below.
• The chat button suits a quick question first, such as whether Drexel admits NP students from your state or how early to begin looking.
• The text and WhatsApp buttons open a conversation on your phone, which helps between shifts, in a break at work or on a clinic day.

Whichever you choose, a placement advisor answers and keeps the conversation in writing, so every preceptor name, date and document request is easy to find again later.

A few specifics let a placement advisor answer with a plan instead of a list of questions:

• Your track, and whether you are in the MSN or a post-master's certificate. For the DNP, Nursing Education, Leadership or RN-to-BSN, say which practicum or course you mean.
• Your next clinical course number, as Drexel writes it: NURS 534 for a first FNP course, NURS 570 for AGACNP, NURS 642 for the pediatric tracks, or a semester number such as NURS 7600 if your course falls in Fall 2027 or later.
• The quarter it starts: Winter 2027, Spring 2027, the seven-week Summer 2027 term or the Fall 2027 semester.
• Your state and nearest town, and the longest commute you would accept on a clinical day.
• Hours still needed, especially when you are mid-course and behind the course total.
• Your RN licenses, including any Pennsylvania or multistate license, and other states where you could train.
• Where your compliance stands in CastleBranch, and whether you have taken NUPR 520.
• Anyone you have already asked, with their answer, and any preceptor or site Drexel questioned.

The order of events stays the same whether your clinical course is a year away or next month.

1. A reply from a placement advisorIt arrives through the channel you used, along with any questions about your course, your map or your schedule.
2. A short conversation about fitSetting, hours, clinic days and travel, checked against Drexel's preceptor rules and against whether Drexel allows clinicals in your state.
3. A written quote and termsYou read both and decide in your own time. What shapes the cost explains the factors behind the quote.
4. The searchIt begins once you accept. You hear from your advisor as candidates are screened, and each preceptor who agrees comes with the documents and site contacts Drexel's teams need.
5. Support through the quarterYour placement advisor stays reachable until your last hour is validated in E*Value, and launches a new search should a preceptor withdraw.

Put the timing in your first line. On the form, choose “This quarter” or “Already in a clinical course, behind on hours” so the placement desk sees it straight away, and note the course number and its first day.

While you wait for the reply, check two things you control: whether any CastleBranch item expires before the quarter ends, and whether your RN license is valid in the state you have in mind for clinicals. Keep messaging your own contacts on Dragon Network too, since a qualified preceptor is welcome whichever route produces them. If you are an NP, a CNM or a physician willing to host a Drexel student, select “I'm a preceptor (not a student)” on the form. Tell us your specialty, your practice setting, your county and the days or quarters you could offer, and whether Drexel already has an agreement with your organization. Drexel looks for active board certification and a year or more of practice, so mention both.
