About our Drexel placement service

We are a clinical placement service for nursing students, and this site is our home for Drexel. Everything on it, from course numbers to compliance steps, is written from Drexel's own catalog, program pages and CNHP compliance pages, and each page lists the sources it relies on.

Drexel's online NP programs hand the search for a site and preceptor to the student, with Drexel resources alongside. That model suits students with a strong local network. For many others it means weeks of calls and emails squeezed between shifts and coursework. We take that search on, and we bring a working knowledge of the rules Drexel applies when the placement reaches its desk.

Every placement we arrange comes with the same set of commitments, whatever the track:

• A search matched to your clinical course: the population, the setting and the hours, rather than a specialty label alone
• Candidates screened against Drexel's list before you hear their names: an NP, a CNM or a physician in an approved specialty, board certified, a year or more in practice
• In-person placements close to home, planned around your work schedule
• The preceptor's CV, license and board certification, plus the site's agreement signer and onboarding steps, organized for Drexel's contracting and compliance teams
• A placement advisor who stays reachable through the quarter and restarts the search if a preceptor steps away
• A written quote and terms before any work begins

Drexel has details that trip up a generic search. Its preceptor list names three professions and leaves out physician assistants. Its NP programs cannot currently admit residents of eleven states, and New York residents must train outside New York. Pediatric applicants are encouraged to hold Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware licenses to widen their choice of sites.

The calendar is changing as well. The 2026–27 quarter catalog is the last one; semesters begin in Fall 2027 with new course numbers, and Summer 2027 is squeezed into seven weeks. A service that knows these details plans around them from the first conversation, long before the contracting stage.

Drexel runs the approval side. NUPR 520 introduces its clinical contracting and compliance processes, CNHP's Contracts and Compliance team handles affiliation agreements, CastleBranch holds your clearances and preceptors report through E*Value. We run the preparation side, so that each piece arriving at those teams is complete and accurate.

Where Drexel's own pages disagree, we say so and tell you who settles it. Your request goes to our placement desk, and a placement advisor takes it from there. The same advisor handles your search, your updates and any replacement, so you explain your situation once and never have to start over with someone new.

When your situation changes mid-search, such as a new work schedule, a move or a course that shifts across the semester switch, one message to your advisor updates the plan.

Placements depend on nurse practitioners, midwives and physicians who make room in a full clinic day to teach. We respect that time by bringing them students whose courses fit their practice and whose paperwork is organized from day one.

When a preceptor agrees to one of our placements, they get the student's course, dates and hour target up front, one placement advisor to contact and early notice of what Drexel's contracting team will ask their office. Nothing lands on their desk as a surprise.
